Olympus 35 RC Rangefinder Film Camera

The Olympus 35 RC is one of our favourite cameras. Firstly it is seriously compact for a rangefinder but on top of that it offers both automatic in addition to full manual exposure control.

In automatic mode you select the desired shutter speed using the top dial and the camera selects the correct aperture. 

For manual mode you select both the aperture and the shutter speed for full control.

Unusually the manual mode operates completely independently of the batteries so it is always available, and the batteries are just used when the automatic aperture is desired. 

It has rangefinder focusing for accuracy and a really high quality lens. There are many internet articles talking about the great quality photos it can take. It also displays both the shutter speed and aperture in the viewfinder. A lovely little performer that feels great in the hand.

Camera includes adaptor so that it can run on regular button cells.

Very nice example with no major marks, and light scuffs from usage / dulling of the silver finish. Lens in excellent condition.
