Canon FTb SLR Film Camera

A very stylish manual SLR film camera with some very nice features. If you haven’t seen any reviews of this camera we encourage you to read them.

This is one of the finest manual-only cameras of the era – with a lovely smooth winding / shutter action that screams quality.

It operates in full manual mode, with the built-in light meter. The viewfinder has the tried-and-trusted match needle system, but also displays the selected shutter speed.

Also has a self timer, and depth-of-field preview – a useful feature that is normally on higher-end cameras of the era.

Uses the Canon Quick Load system to make loading film incredibly simple (the same system as used on the great Canonet QL17 rangefinder).

The camera operates fully mechanically, and only uses the battery for the light meter. It takes 1x SR44 battery (supplied).

A superb camera for beginners who will really learn the fundamentals of photography, but with the quality to last for years.

• Very good condition all round – no major marks or scratches.
• Beautiful clear lens (50mm f1.8). 
• Viewfinder generally clear with a few marks on the focusing screen
• All functions are working correctly including the light meter
